Some find it easier to work with a more neutral default gradient in Ultra Fractal.
This tutorial shows how to create a useful (highly visible base shapes on most formula) grayscale gradient and set it as the default for Ultra Fractal. It will also be referenced in another requested tutorial I have in the works!
